description: Saddle-up and Paint! Art Auction, a Living History Art Event of documenting Bigfork’s rivers, streams and lakes en plein aire on August 18, 19 & 20, 2010. Saddle up and paint features Rob Akey,Kelly Apgar, Nancy Cawdrey, Marsha Davis, Loretta Domaszewski, Jane Latus Emmert, Haakon Ensign, Linda Ensign, Lael Grey, Mary Kelley, Bill Knoll, Karen Leigh, Sunnie LeBlanc, Thomas Lewis, Nicholas Oberling, Jeff Manion, Joanne Sleadd, Toni Whitney, Julie Wulf & Brandon Weise. The artists will be working in oil, watercolor & acrylic. Works from the three day paint event will be auction off the Saddlehorn Marina on Friday August 20th. Tickets will go on sale at the gift shop on August 6th for $15.00 a person for non members of the museum and $10.00 for members. Light refreshements will be served and a cash bar will be available. Art Tour de Force

description: Art Tour de Force will be Saturday August 28, 2010 from 1-6pm. This summer tour by land and lake will allow you access to three private homes to share their Antiques collections. The tour includes transportation by motor coach and Far West Cruises. Registration will be at 1pm in the upper parking lot at the Flathead Lake Lodge where you will board the motor coaches. Return to the Lodge will be at approximately 6pm. Tickets are $100.00 per person. The homes on the tour are: Tom and Teresa Kennedy: The Kennedy's home is an eclectic mix of Native American Art, travel memorabilia, and Renaissance Revival Antiques. It features works by Ed Morgan and Rory Wagner, as well as local artists. The home is accented by hand-carved woodwork throughout. Jerry and Pat Molen: Academy Award winning producer, Jerry Molen, and his wife, Pat, invite you to their home where we will see 1993's Best Picture Oscar for "Schindler's List", as well as, a Golden Globe and other numerous awards. Jerry will share memories and stories during the visit. Roe and Beverly Hatlen: "Good Medicine Camp" is a stunning lakeside property located at Yellow Bay and is home to an exceptional collection of museum-quality western art hanging in the main living quarters and office guest house. This visit at the Hatlen's will be a truly memorable experience. From "Good Medicine Camp" you will board the Far West and return to the Flathead Lake Lodge.
